The October heat has finally ended (hopefully!), and we are now looking forward to a pleasant and progressive Winter season here in Mumbai. In this blog, we are going to brief you about the happenings and developments at Hamburg Representation Mumbai in the last couple of months.
In September Peter Deubet and Lea Miram were in Hamburg attending the annual meeting of the Hamburg Representatives organised by Hamburg Marketing and Hamburg Invest. During this meeting, various events offered not only the opportunity of an exchange of ideas between old and new representatives but also of networking with important stakeholders in Hamburg.
In October Lea Miram took part in the Working Group "Invest in Germany" in the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in New Delhi to drive the Indo-German collaboration further.
A lot was happening in the second week of October. From 12th – 14th October we participated in “German Days” which is one of the most important events in our annual calendar. Leading German companies were present under one roof showcasing their technology and future projects. Besides the official Investors Conference which gave several representations a platform to present themselves, there was also an educational event conducted for prospective Indian students interested in studying in Germany.
If you think German Days are only about business and work, they are not! Every day, after 6 p.m. there used to be special “Oktoberfest” celebrations. Being a traditional German festival, there were many authentic German things on offer including German food, German music and authentic German beer.
All in all the past couple of months have been fruitful as well as exuberant and exhilarating. The picture above sums it up very well. Hope you enjoyed reading this blog.
