With five partners, the Senat´s Office Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Port Marketing, Hamburg Business Development Corporation and Hamburg Messe und Congress Hamburg was represented on 59th annual general meeting of the Indo German Chamber of Commerce from the harbor to trade fairs and from economy to culture. The Hamburg Representation Mumbai presented Hamburg as business and investment location during this year´s annual general meeting of the Indo German Chamber of Commerce at 23rd September 2015. Numerous Indian enterprises, mainly from Maharashtra,got the chance to ask the Hamburg Team various questions about Hamburg as business hub at the exhibition stand of the Hamburg Representation. Establishment of companies in Hamburg and vice versa of Hamburg companies in India as well as tourism are only a few aspects that were covered. A special interest in the port of Hamburg and the Hafencity project could be observed, as the Hafencity may be an example for Indian smart cities. Hamburg Ambassador Frank König and the German vice consul Gabriele Boner visited the Hamburg stall also and showed a special interest in current topics relating to Hamburg and India.
