From 10 – 13 October the German Days, organized by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC), took place in Mumbai. The event included several conferences, a Carnival celebration for families and the Oktoberfest. We were pleased to participate and experience the taste of Germany in India.

We had the chance to introduce and promote Hamburg as a business location at the investor’s conference. Different businessmen came to the conference to learn more about Germany as a business location and its different regions. Moreover, the IGCC organized a conference on sustainability and CSR. Different speakers from both companies and NGOs shared their experiences and projects regarding sustainability and CSR. In an open panel discussion there was the opportunity to discuss how to improve sustainable economic development and inclusive growth.

The Oktoberfest created a platform to meet different stakeholders but also to enjoy German food and beer.

We enjoyed being part of the German Days and we are looking forward to the next year!
