Hamburg Trade Fairs

With its vast start-up scene and the third biggest port in Europe, Hamburg is Germany’s economic power house. Naturally, some of the major trade fairs take place in Hamburg. Here we provide a selection of the most important ones:

Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology (SMM) – The world’s leading trade fair for the maritime industry. It counts more than 2,200 exhibitors and around 50,000 visitors from all over the world.

WindEnergy Hamburg– the most important fair for the global wind industry, both on- and offshore. The fair is accompanied by the WindEurope Conference, the leading academic conference in the field.

Internorga- International trade fair for hotels, restaurants, public catering, bakeries and confectionery shops with 1,300 exhibitors and 96,000 visitors: the leader in Europe!

The New Congress Center Hamburg (2020)

The Congress Center in Hamburg (CCH) was one of the first to be built in Europe. It was constructed in 1973 and is now under renovation. In 2020 it will be reopened again with 12,000 sq. of exhibition space, 12,000 sq. of foyer space and 12,000 seats in up to 50 halls, which makes it not only one of the largest convention centres in Europe, but will also enable it to take over its role as one of the leading centres again.
