The Hamburg Representation in Mumbai recently had the privilege of joining the Indian Consul General, Ms. Soumya Gupta, the Vice-Consul Pawan Devrani, Dr. Doris Hilger, and Lilian Krause of the Handelskammer Hamburg for a visit to the brand-new Beiersdorf CAMPUS.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Parmeshwaran Iyer, the Global Vice-President: Digital Supply Chain at Beiersdorf for hosting a day filled with insightful discussions and valuable exchanges. The visit to Beiersdorf’s CAMPUS included a comprehensive tour of its modern facilities and historic Heritage Room. This was followed by a lunch meeting with CSCO Michael Frey, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and talent transfer. The delegation also received a behind-the-scenes look at the BMH factory, where Labello and NIVEA crème production was demonstrated. Finally, Parmeshwaran Iyer delivered a presentation outlining Beiersdorf Group’s investments and long- term commitment to India, further highlighting the importance of the company’s global partnerships.

The visit underscored the significance of skilled labor migration in strengthening business relations between Germany and India. By facilitating such exchanges, we aim to foster collaboration, share expertise, and drive innovation in both regions.
